We are committed to protecting the safety of our guests, staff, and the remote local community. To this end, we are mandating covid vaccination and making Rapid Antigen Self-Tests available to all incoming guests to minimise the risk of a COVID-19 case at Arkaba. On arrival, we will ask that you complete the ‘easy to use’ nasal swab test before checking in at the homestead. It should not take more than fifteen minutes of your time, and a staff member will be on hand to assist should you need guidance. We feel the extra precautionary measure will help put minds at ease, leaving you to immerse yourself in the magic of Arkaba and the time-honoured Flinders Ranges.
We understand now more than ever that, sometimes, plans change. If you cancel outside 30 days, we will provide a full refund, less a $50 administration fee and credit card merchant fees (if you have chosen to settle your deposit by credit card).
Usually, cancellations within 30 days of arrival, all monies are forfeited. However, with the current COVID-19 pandemic and after medical advice, governments decide to apply quarantine conditions (including self-isolation orders) or close country or state borders; therefore, prohibiting you from travelling within 30 days of travel, we invite you to immerse yourself in the Flinders Ranges and join our Wild Bush Luxury experience at Arkaba another time that suits your schedule. In this instance, you would also have the option of a refund.
The only caveat comes with cancellation fees imposed by third party operators at short notice. Most are very accommodating, particularly in the current climate. Still, we are not in the position to absorb costs if suppliers, like air charters or helicopter bookings, do not extend full refunds.
